Sweet Bonanza 1000 is Pragmatic Play's remake of its famous candy slot. The look and the core rules stay the same, but the multiplier bombs in the bonus can now reach 1000x instead of the lower ceiling of the original. That one change makes the Sweet Bonanza 1000 slot a more extreme game: bigger potential in free spins, and more spins that end with very little.
What is the same as Sweet Bonanza
- A 6 by 5 grid with pay anywhere wins: 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the screen.
- Tumbles: winning symbols disappear and new ones fall in, so one spin can pay several times.
- Free spins triggered by four or more lollipop scatters.
- Multiplier bombs during free spins, added together and applied to the tumble sequence's win.
If you have never played the original, start with our Sweet Bonanza review; the basics are explained there in more detail.
What is new in the 1000 version
The headline change is the multiplier range. According to the provider, multiplier symbols in Sweet Bonanza 1000 go up to 1000x. Pragmatic Play has applied the same idea to several of its hits, such as Gates of Olympus 1000. The maximum possible win is higher than in the original, and the volatility is very high.
The graphics have also been refreshed, and the version usually includes an ante bet option and, where allowed, a bonus buy.
Sweet Bonanza 1000 RTP
According to the provider, the standard RTP is around 96.5%, similar to the original. As with all Pragmatic Play games, casinos can choose a lower RTP setting. Open the game's info screen at your casino to see the figure it uses.
Sweet Bonanza 1000 demo and free play
Free play is the best way to see the difference between this and the original. Play the two side by side in demo and compare how often a free spins round ends with a small result. Many players prefer the original's steadier feel; others want the bigger multipliers. Demo mode costs nothing and answers the question for you.
Standard and super free spins buys
Where the casino allows it, you can pay a fixed multiple of your stake to go straight to free spins, and sometimes there is a pricier "super" free spins option with better multipliers. Bonus buys are expensive and can still return less than the price. Treat them as a high-risk feature, not a shortcut.
Original or 1000: choosing by budget
It suits players who enjoy high volatility and accept long losing runs for the chance of a large bonus. If you have a small naira budget and like to play for a long time, the original or a lower volatility slot such as Starburst will last longer.
