Search for Bet24 in Nigeria and you will find a mix of things: a betting brand, "Bet24 predictions" and "Bet24 tips" pages, live score links and app downloads. This Bet24 review untangles them, because mixing up a bookmaker with a tips site is one of the easiest ways to lose money without noticing. We cover the sportsbook side, what to make of predictions, and how to test the brand with small stakes.
Bet24 the bookmaker vs Bet24 predictions
Many Nigerian punters search "Bet24 predictions" and "Bet24 tips" almost as often as "Bet24 Nigeria". That tells us people expect the brand to hand out daily picks. Keep two things separate:
- A bookmaker takes your bets, holds your balance and pays your winnings. It needs a licence and a working cashier.
- A predictions page only suggests bets. It does not hold your money. Some prediction sites use names similar to betting brands without being connected to them.
Before acting on any "Bet24 prediction", check who published it and whether that site is the bookmaker itself or an unrelated tipster. And remember: no prediction is sure. Anyone selling "sure odds", "fixed matches" or VIP slips for a fee is running a scam. If you want daily picks with the method explained, use our football predictions section, where we show how each market is analysed rather than promising results.
Is Bet24 legit in Nigeria?
Sports betting in Nigeria is licensed by the NLRC, or a state body like LSLGA in Lagos. On the Bet24 site, look for:
- A licence statement in the footer naming the regulator.
- A company name and address in the terms.
- A clear withdrawal policy with times and limits.
The facts box above lists the details we could confirm from the operator's public pages. Empty fields are still being checked, so look at the site before depositing.
Bet24 sign up and bonus
Signing up should take a few minutes. Use your legal name as it appears on your bank account and a phone number registered to you, because both are used to check your identity at withdrawal. Choose naira as the account currency if you are asked.
For the Bet24 bonus and promo code, check the operator table further down: confirmed offers appear there. When comparing offers, the wagering requirement matters more than the headline figure. Read our bonuses guide to see why.
The Bet24 app
If Bet24 offers an Android app, it may come as an APK from the official site. Install it only from there, turn on "install unknown apps" for the browser only for this step, and switch the permission off afterwards. If the app is not available on your phone or runs slowly, the mobile site gives you the same account and is lighter on data.
Live betting and casino
Bet24 live searches suggest people use it for in-play betting. To judge a live section, try it during a big match:
- Do odds update quickly, or do you get frequent "odds changed" rejections?
- Is there a live score or match tracker next to the markets?
- Can you cash out, and does the cash out value look fair?
If you play casino games as well, check whether the facts box confirms a casino section, which providers are listed and whether games load on mobile data. See our casino guide for more on choosing games.
Deposit and withdrawal test
The most reliable way to judge Bet24, or any bookmaker, is to move a little money in and out:
| Stage | Tip |
|---|---|
| Deposit | Use the minimum amount. Bank transfer, USSD, cards and wallets like OPay or PalmPay are common in Nigeria; use whichever the cashier lists. |
| Verification | Complete ID or BVN checks before you win, not after. |
| Withdrawal | Request a small payout to your own account and note the time it takes. |
| Records | Keep screenshots of bank alerts and transaction IDs. |
Red flags
- Prediction pages that push you to deposit on a site you have not heard of.
- Telegram groups using the Bet24 name to sell slips.
- Requests for an "activation fee" before a withdrawal.
- Domains with odd spellings that copy the brand logo.

Verdict
Bet24 gets a healthy amount of Nigerian search interest, partly because people want tips. Treat the bookmaker and the prediction pages as separate things. Check the licence, test a small withdrawal, and never pay for picks. If the cashier works and the terms are clear, it can be a useful extra account.
Only adults 18+ may gamble. Bet for fun, within a budget, and see our responsible gambling page if you need support.
