1960Bet Review

1960Bet is a Nigerian bookmaker searched close to a thousand times a month, almost always by its plain name. It is run by Winners Bookmaker Nigeria Limited and took the 1960Bet name in a rebrand covered by ThisDay in 2020, when the company also announced new management. This 1960Bet review covers the right website, the licence, registration, the mobile site, bonuses and withdrawals. 18+ only.

Public information about 1960Bet is limited. The official site sits behind a security check that blocks automated reading, so we relied on Nigerian press coverage (ThisDay and legit.ng), the operator's own public pages where we could open them and its licence references. We have not opened a 1960Bet account. Confidence in some details is low, and we say where.

The facts box only shows fields confirmed in our operator file; for 1960Bet several are still blank.

1960bet.ng, not 1960bet.com.ng

The official 1960Bet site is 1960bet.ng. A separate address, 1960bet.com.ng, is a third-party page that copies the brand and is not run by the operator. Do not register, log in or deposit there. The safest route is a trusted link such as our 1960Bet link, then a bookmark. If a page asks you to pay a deposit into a personal bank account, close it.

Licence: what the record shows

Legit.ng reports that 1960Bet is licensed by the Lagos State Lotteries Board, the predecessor of today's Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority, and by the national regulator. We could not read the licence line on the official site ourselves, so compare the footer of 1960bet.ng with our record. Lagos State Lotteries Board (LSLB) and NLRC Our licence check method is on how we rate.

A shop brand moving online

1960Bet grew as a retail bookmaker, and legit.ng lists branches and contact numbers alongside its online service. For many customers that means a mix of shop tickets and online bets. If you play in a shop, keep your printed ticket until it is settled, and if you bet online, keep your account in your own name so a payout can go to your bank.

1960Bet registration and sign up

1960Bet registration is searched more than any other topic after the brand name. Online sign up on 1960bet.ng follows the usual Nigerian pattern:

1. Open 1960bet.ng from a trusted link.
2. Choose register and enter your mobile number.
3. Set a password and confirm the SMS code.
4. Add your full name and date of birth exactly as on your bank account.
5. Set a deposit limit before your first deposit.

You must be 18 or older. If the form asks for your BVN or bank password at sign up, stop: a bookmaker never needs your bank password.

1960Bet mobile and the app question

1960Bet mobile is the phone version of the site and the simplest way to bet online with the brand. We could not confirm an official 1960Bet app in the Google Play or Apple stores. Treat any 1960Bet APK shared in a chat group as suspect, and use the mobile site in your browser instead.

1960Bet bonus and promo code

We have not confirmed a current 1960Bet welcome bonus or promo code. If the site shows one after you log in, read the minimum odds, wagering and expiry before opting in. Our betting bonuses page lists offers we have confirmed at other bookmakers.

Deposits and 1960Bet withdrawal

We could not confirm 1960Bet's payment methods from official pages, so the facts box leaves them blank. Before depositing, open the deposit screen and check that every method pays into an account named for the operator, not an individual. For a 1960Bet withdrawal, request a small amount first to a bank account in your own name and note how long it takes. Keep transaction references and screenshots.

Who 1960Bet suits

1960Bet suits punters who already know the brand from a local shop and want to keep using it online. If you want clearly published payment details, a confirmed app and a documented welcome offer, the brands in our best Nigerian betting sites ranking publish more.
